Every voyage is flown by a commander with at least one prior orbital flight, under a flight director on the ground at the plateau. The capsule carries a launch escape system that is armed from the moment the hatch closes until the craft is in orbit.
Medical
Guests are examined before booking and again on arrival. The centrifuge rides are supervised by a flight physician; so is the parabolic flight. Most people who can climb two flights of stairs comfortably can fly.
Weather and space weather
We will hold a launch for weather at the pad, for winds aloft, and for solar activity strong enough to raise radiation levels in orbit. Holds are common; they are not a cause for concern.
