The ground track: one orbit, drawn on a flat map of the Earth.
What that plan means
You will go round 46 times, once every 92.0 minutes, and see 46 sunrises. The voyage covers 1,991,681 kilometres at 7.68 kilometres a second, and at no point will it feel like moving.
A tropical track. The view reaches 48° north and south — the reefs, the storm belts and the great deserts — and the aurora stays below the horizon.
$3.2 million per seat, all preparation included
Tropic is our shortest multi-day voyage, flown at a low inclination that keeps the craft within the tropics. It is the voyage for water: the reefs of the Pacific and the Red Sea, the braided rivers of Brazil, the Bahamas banks in forty shades of turquoise.
It is also the voyage for storms. Somewhere under a tropical orbit a thunderstorm is always building, and on the night side you will see them flash — sometimes a dozen at once along the horizon, lighting each other up from inside.
