The ground track: one orbit, drawn on a flat map of the Earth.

What that plan means

You will go round 31 times, once every 92.4 minutes, and see 31 sunrises. The voyage covers 1,325,825 kilometres at 7.67 kilometres a second, and at no point will it feel like moving.

High enough that the view reaches 71° of latitude: on the night passes the auroral ovals rise over the poleward horizon, green at a hundred kilometres and red above.

$2.4 million per seat, all preparation included

First Light is thirty-one orbits and thirty-one sunrises. It is the same preparation, the same capsule and the same crew as every other voyage; it is simply shorter.

Many of our guests fly First Light first and come back for Aurora or Terminator. A First Light fare counts toward any later voyage booked within three years.
